International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
On November 29, 2024, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) were approved by the National Assembly, becoming the highest legal basis for IFRS application in Vietnam. The Ministry of Finance will adjust Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) to suit domestic conditions, and at the same time develop a roadmap for conversion from VAS to IFRS.
